An Interesting Week at TSC Talks LLC

It’s been an interesting week at TSC Talks. Our Indiegogo campaign was censored and pulled, our Press Release service shut down and all of our press releases deleted. We will not be discouraged by this “welcome” to the world of cognitive dissonance USA when crossing that line into the grey area surrounding cannabis legalization, CBD, Hemp rules, and regs. All I know is I’m watching my own son with TSC transform utilizing hemp products. After years of being “locked-in” some sort of cognitive pharma fog, to watch him reemerge has been incredible. It definitely presents new challenges as intellectual curiosity stimulates questions, connections, understanding of limitations, and frustrations.

TSC Talks

We know our people are out there and we will not give up on finding ways to provide resources, support, and next-level hemp products to make the road less traveled that we all are on, when you have a loved one or have a chronic life-threatening condition, a bit less lonely. We are a voice of marginalization and oppression in the healthcare system and systems of care upon which we must depend. 24 years of schooling in TSC. TSC as a metaphor. A condition causing “benign” tumors to grow in different organs of the body and the only treatment/s ordained by traditional medicine so the masses can afford healthcare, often work to increase dependence, disorder, and despair long term. Don’t get me wrong, many life-saving treatments have emerged but without the key of endocannabinoid education included in our understanding of disease, there are a lot of treatments that while helpful short term, are disconnected to the individuals well being as a whole and often become less effective and toxic over time.

Hear us out. We are not here to only share painful trauma filled stories with a point, but we are here to ask the questions and discuss options. The options that work and those that don’t and those workarounds, alternative options, system hacks, mindsets, therapeutic tools, whatever you’ve tried that has helped you and/or your loved one with TSC or some other chronic life-threatening condition, or truly any situation for which simple answers are not enough and have forced you to dig deeper.

There can not only be one way to treat a condition that is viewed as the absolute while other approaches or theories might be equally as viable but due to the establishment’s investment in the status quo and lack of ability to think outside the box, most alternative options are humored but are given a lower-tier status, not covered by insurance and doctors not able to even consider. They are straitjacketed into doling out the pills and medical advice based on keeping us dependent and not questioning. My own doc always asks me repeatedly “if I need anything” when noting I have eliminated all pharma but a thyroid med.

Our traditional healthcare system/s are outdated and those within the system are often unable to understand the significance of how systemic disconnects can play out in the lives of patients as well as the entire support network of the identified patient. When one is forced to reach for off the grid options that might possibly offer relief but are not legal and/or for which there is not the kind of evidence that gets the attention of the powers that be into changing their views, it is stressful and risky. But for many, NOT taking these risks after all else has failed or is just not enough is a luxury problem. Often said alternative options help, along with other shortcuts, workarounds, and choices made that would not be ordained by traditional medicine. These options are employed to survive and require letting go of what we think we know about traditional medicine and how locked in we are to understanding things piecemeal in the human body instead of as a whole, interconnected unit, one can begin to understand why it is literally impossible to follow many of the recommendations when they are given by multiple professionals, each with their own expertise, agenda and among which, there is not enough communication to provide safety nets and continuity of care required to avoid further decline in compliance and quality of life.
